Every effort has been and will continue to be made to maintain stability while continually growing and improving our ability to serve small businesses.
It Started With a Passion
In November of 1999, Chris Bentzinger sent his first invoice to his father for miscellaneous consulting work. This marked the beginning of Bentzinger Consulting. Started in his bedroom in his parents' house in Urbandale, Iowa, this new business was founded on and fueled by Chris's passion for small businesses. The same ideals and principles upon which he based the business then are still our guiding philosophies today.
Incorporation
In January of 2002, Chris Bentzinger Consulting incorporated as Bentzinger Consulting, LLC. A few months later, in November, 2002, Bentzinger Consulting, LLC was invited to join the Central Iowa Better Business Bureau.
New Location
As the company continued to grow, Chris realized that clients would benefit from other ambitious students who would be excited to practice what they were learning in the classroom. He also realized that, in order for these student specialists to be successful, they needed a place to work. To answer this need, he found 312 Main St. in Slater, IA, which became the Slater office of Bentzinger Consulting.
