Vendor Relations
Any project of a given nature usually has a dozen pieces and details to really get that project off the ground. These pieces can range from a Web Site Host to an Internet Service Provider to a Printing Company. These pieces are usually considered trivial details when the whole project is taken into consideration, but the truth is, the web host can make or break a website. A printing company can make or break a brochure. The only problem is, there are hundreds of these vendors. How do we find the needle in the haystack?
Here at Bentzinger Consulting, we don't just call around and find whoever is cheaper. We thoroughly examine each vendor individually to a hard standard.
Complete Catalog
We catalog and maintain a large database of vendors to enable us to select the best providers for the services our clients need. This catalog ranges from everything from web site hosts to building contractors and everywhere inbetween. We even log our competition!
Trustworthy Selection
We seek vendors who are trustworthy in their product. We quiz every vendor to a standard that our specialists have developed to first determine what we need and filter out all those who don't meet that criteria. We then get three references from other companies who have used this vendor. Then we try to test run this vendor before we ever recommend a client to them.
Close Examination
We log every interaction we have with our vendors. If a mistake is made it is noted and then examined to understand where that problem came from and how to make sure it doesn't repeat. If a vendor has proven itself over and over then it too is noted and then examined as to what made that work. If we find a vendor to be trustworthy, then we will continue to use that vendor and recommend them to clients as well.
Acting for the Client
We act as a mediator between the client and the vendor to save our clients from the hassles of dealing with a vendor. Our qualified specialists interact with the vendor to get the necessary information as quickly and as smoothly as possible and then effectively relay that information to the client relations specialists, who then relay what needs to be said to the client. This makes for a clean, smooth, and efficent process.
