General Information:

Objectives:
- Establish new relationships with potential clients
- Take care of current clients and their needs
- Connect with clients and then relay information back to the project team.
Responsibilities (Can be Learned on the Job):
- Represent Bentzinger Consulting to clients, prospects, and the surrounding community
- Act as a link between clients and the other specialists at Bentzinger Consulting
- Identify new prospects and establish new relationships
- Have a general understanding of all the services that Bentzinger Consulting offers
- Identify needs and generate ideas for new projects with existing clients.
Requirements for Position:
- Currently attending classes at a local college or university
- Studying in the area of business, communications, advertising, public relations, or marketing
- Ability to show empathy, good listening, honesty, dependability, thoroughness, and follow-through
- Must not be pushy, late, deceitful, unprepared, or disorganized
- Possess strong communications skills
- Have a good driving record
- Ready to develop and continually improve leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to easily acclimate yourself to and learn the user aspects of new user-friendly technology systems (phone systems, email systems, user logins on web sites, etc.).
- Ability to locate resources in order to tackle a problem or acquire a new skill
Qualifications Which will Improve Chances of Being Hired (Not Required):
- Past experience with sales
- Time available on weekday mornings
- A class schedule which includes entire days with no classes
Work Scheduling:
- Specialists typically work 10-20 hours a week, depending on personal schedule and the number of hours needed by the company.
- More hours may be setup for time periods when classes are not in session
